What is virgin hair?

  Virgin hair is hair that has not been chemically altered or  colored. Virgin hair is not straightened or altered by excessive heat or  other thermal service.  

What is natural hair care?

Natural  hair care is a chemical free approach to caring for your natural hair.  It also includes styles that require not chemicals such as textured  styles (twist outs), braids , locs, extensions, twist and weaves.   

What is transitioning hair?

Transitioning  is the process of going natural from having relaxed or chemically  treated hair. Allowing your virgin hair to grow out and consciously stop  relaxing your hair.   

What is a normal amount of hair shedding?

 We  are expected to shed 50-100 strands of hair per day, anything a more  than that can be excessive. Excess shedding can be due to stress,  lifestyle, diet or medication.    

What is hair porosity?

Hair  porosity is defined as how well water, moisture or chemicals are  absorbed through your hair cuticles. It’s described how well your hair  will react to liquid base products.  

How often should I wash my curly hair?

Naturally textured hair should be wash once per week with sulfate  free shampoo. Braids and locs should be washed every 2 weeks with  sulfate free shampoos as well.
